    Harang- Long Term?

    per rotoworld:

The Reds are likely to talk to Aaron Harang about a long-term deal later this winter.

Harang, who led the NL in strikeouts last season, has two years of arbitration left. The Reds would likely want to buy out one or two years of free agency in a deal with him.
This is something we really need. Could be huge for this franchise.

Go for the gusto, get him on a 4 year deal. I am willing to take the gamble of him regressing instead of risking what he would cost if he didn't.

i think this is a great move. he isn't really injury prone(knock on wood- no not Kerry Wood) plus he is the best pitcher we have and will be expecting more money in 2 years. Do it Wayne! Make a good choice for once

yeah no doubt, I mean if he had just one season like last year i would worry about fluke, but he has proven to be solid all around.
