well it was a fun last couple of days...

I really had a good time pondering possible trades in my mind. I was definitely thinking something could go down after the continuious rumors and after the meetings this week. But I am thinking that these rumors may be put to sleep real soon. Because if O'Brien wanted to make a change, he had a perfect opportunity to do that yesterday and all day today. I think he would have used that opportunity to get it done in remarks to the recent struggle. So it looks like we may be seeing a change in the batting order. Which could be a huge lift for this team. So these last few hours before tonight's game, I will be wondering what Miley is putting together. DanO made his move in calling up Stone. And I think he is finished. Now, Miley has to follow through with starting the right players and putting together the right lineup.

i would have liked to have seen DanO dump weber or belisle as well. It would have given us a whole new look in the pen. Hopefully Paul will be able to give some strong innings today and it won't be an issue.

    For me Miley, just once:

    Freel
    Randa
    Dunn
    Wily Mo
    Junior
    Casey
    FeLo
    Larue
    PWils
    Reds MVP Race

    6: Arroyo, Harang
    5: Kearns
    4: Phillips
    3: Dunn, Felo, Freel, Milton
    2: Claussen, EdE, Griffey, Valentin
1: Aurilia, Hatteberg, Lizard, Larue, Shackelford

That would be an excellent lineup.

    I bet he does this:

    Freel
    Lopez
    Casey
    Griffey
    Dunn
    Pena
    Randa
    LaRue
    Wilson

Which still would not be so bad.

    But if I see this:

    Jiminez
    Griffey
    Casey
    Pena
    Dunn
    Randa
    Aurilia
    Wilson

Our season is as good as gone. This will absolutely mean we are stuck with this.

    Actually should look like this...

    Freel RF
Lopez (I actually like this with him in front of the lefty bashers) 2b
    Casey 1b
    Griffey CF
    Dunn LF
    Randa 3b
    Aurillia SS
    LaRue C
    Beilise P

I dont think even Jimmie Haynes could top Wilson's attempt tonight.
