    Valentin- 1 year extension

    I haven't found this as official news yet. But have seen it mentioned in a few areas.

    If its true, we are likely looking at LaRue being the odd man out. Narron has finally seemed to commit to Ross and it is well deserved. So Ross and Valentin likely for next year. What are your guys' thoughts?

    LOS ANGELES -- Javier Valentin today agreed to terms on a one-year extension through 2007 with a club option for 2008, joining Scott Hatteberg in collecting some in-season job security for next year.
