Reds acquire Scott Schoeneweis from Blue Jays

    PTBNL or cash

only link I've got is rotoworld:

Reds acquired LHP Scott Schoeneweis from the Blue Jays for a player to be named or cash.
Another clear single that the Blue Jays don't take themselves seriously as contenders. Losing Schoeneweis may not hurt the team with as little as he's provided, but they're still basically giving him away when they clearly lack reinforcements. Schoeneweis had a 6.51 ERA in 37 1/3 innings this season. Lefties were hitting .257 against him. He'll be better as part of an NL bullpen, but he's not going to make a real difference.

good luck, he's pure lefty specialist, he struggles against right handed batters

With Brian Tallent and Scott Downs here, Schoeneweis is exspenable.

he's a free agent at the end of year

Shackelford will more than likely be the one dropped for him.

It is just a "nothing" move for me though.

    Just causes me to ZZZZZ.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

Yep, yawn. But I still think almost anything is better than Shack at this point. On second thought; Schoeneweis (hope I dont have to butcher that spelling for too long) is not so great himself. Whatever...
