It would be hilarious if both Majewski and Bray were roiding.

If they were both using steroids, does that mean we get pitchers or Kearns and Lopez from Washington?

Yeah, we are seeing Ryan Franklin pitch now. 9-1 Cards. Molina illustrating offensive skill tonight.

Yadier Molina, watch out Mike Piazza and Johnny Bench. There is a new future slugger of the ages at the backstop in town.

    This game is officially lost.

Franklin's ERA on the year is rising quickly. It's now up to 4.75.

Maybe the players knew about this steroids thing before the game and it distracted them?

I think I know how other fans have felt when Juan Castro (who is actiually much better) have almost single-handely beat them.

Franklin is lucky his ERA didn't go up even more there. The Cards appear to have tons of offensive talent. They look far superior than the Reds' hitters. Jocketty appears to have built a stellar/clutch offense as we head toward the post-season.

It's funny, we have one of our more active game threads in terms of people showing up, the ballpark is packed, everyone cares about this game and it's like getting shot in the face (or what I would imagine that to feel like.)

Yup. Although it appears he might be clutch? Their lineup has done pretty well this year with Duncan, Encarnacion, Molina and Miles in it. Edmonds hasn't even hit his best and it has still be pretty good.

The signs about the rotation have been there for some time. Apparently our management didn't notice.

The crowd is very quiet now, btw. I wonder how many have already left?

No one has questioned the Cards bats (many underrated them early this season, but did not discredit either), although Molina is a joke (and if you argue otherwise, I will lose a lot of respect for you). The question has been their pitching.
