OK, I have a question for you guys and it's a bit off-topic, but...
I got a trade offer (standard public league) for Adam Dunn (from a Reds fan). He originally offers up Sexson and Holliday, and then Troy Glaus/Matt Holliday. The second deal's obviously better so I rejected the first one.
Now, typically, I'd probably do the deal to upgrade my 3B or SS position (I think I'm running Sanchez and Weeks out there now), but with Dunn's supposed new approach (as mission put it) and hot streak, I'm pretty tentative. Plus, due to some sick pitching, my team has a 10 game lead or so on the next best record.
So, to review it
I get: Glaus, Holliday
I deal: Dunn
My new roster:
C: Posada
1B: Ortiz
2B: Roberts
3B: Cantu
SS: Glaus
OF: Holliday, Drew, Dye
Util: Sanchez
Bench: Nomah, Weeks
SP: Prior, Beckett, Halladay, Zambrano, Schmidt (drop Buehrle)
RP: Putz, Papelbon, C. Cordero, Carmona, Fuentes
So, is Dunn's new hitting style and hot streak worth keeping considering Glaus may be returning to hitting well and Holliday, well, I hope he returns to his April style
