its funny but offensively EdE has better numbers than Aurillia, if you account for EdE having less AB's

I stuck around for the draft in a league here tonight but then went out to see PoTC2. I figured I wouldn't miss much as we got shelled early and truthfully, I was hoping for a rain delay as I imagine many were. But man, is this a satisifying win to go through on my tivo. I really digged how Bray got into some trouble with the double and the walk but then strikes out the next two batters. Showing that kind of grit against tough Mets hitters late in the game is promising. And Eddie is getting the job done so far and I must admit, is pretty fun to watch in the 9th.

I guess patience paid off for those who stuck around.

Ahh, but you know patience leads to Runs Scored, mission.

Yeah, that was a pretty huge win. I was at work and came out during our break just after the rain started pouring and heard it was 4-0 in the 2nd with a rain delay. I thought "It's over. Harang will be done after the delay and our pen will probably give up some more Runs."

I got to listen to the 5th and 6th innings and watch the 7th inning on. What a gutty win and a nice performance from the pen, including Bray: 7 IP, 2 H, 4 BB, 3 K, 0 ER!

The one negative was Griffey. He continues to not hit. He really needs to go down to 5th or 6th in the order until he can get going again.

Hopefully Bronson is ready for the day game today!

MVP: The whole bullpen. Impressive to go 7 Innings without giving up 1 run to the Mets.

I listened to most of it. Anyone here buy the idea of Aurilia has the hot bat and thats why he's playing right now over Ed E?

"Oh, don't mind me, I'm rebuilding now" then you win at least 80 games

EdE with a big hit off the bench.. Aurillia on 12 game streak.. is there anyway Aurillia can be moved to SS to play everyday, because if that was the case this team could have quite a nice lineup, especially considering Jr's slump right now.. not to mention we wouldn't have to see Clayton and Castro platoon, this team has a winning record despite Narron.. Jr is killing this team by bating 3rd in the order.. the win was huge last night, but if he throws out another crappy order today it will be hard to get the series win

I was wondering the same thing. He's only one year removed from the position. I doubt it would matter though, If Aurillia started at SS I'm sure Castro would be the starter at 3rd.

Aurilia has stated that he feels most comfortable at SS, so of course Narron won't move him there.
