David Ross does not have a hernia

Great news, but he's still going to rest for a few days and be examined so there still might be problems.

Jerry Narron is going to do the lineup card for the All Star Game. Now, if that means he's doing the lineup itself, I can only imagine how awesome that will be.

They aren't stupid - Harang's getting an extra day to rest after the 135 pitch outing, and won't start Thursday.

    Sitting Encarnacion is pretty stupid.

The problem with the 135-pitch outing is Harang had to "high stress" inning at the end of around or over 50 pitches total I believe. That was really dumb to send him out there in the 8th already down in the game.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

Glad to see Ross is likely OK.

Anyone hear anything on Freel? He is injured somehow if I recall correctly.

Narron is a clown for sitting Encarnacion, and look at the headline on reds.com:

Someday David Ross will be able to rock the grandkids and tell them that he once pinch-hit for Shawn Green.
