Reds embarrassed again by the Champs! - 6/18

Currently 8-0 White Sox in the bottom of the 9th. Reds have been 4 hit so far. This is pathetic.

    Harang had a quality start.

The usual suspects made this game a blow out. Burns and Yan made this game a blowout.

Beautiful. If they aren't gone by tomorrow, I'll be quite unhappy.

Why did Burns ever get the callup? Should have been Love Shack if anyone. This shows that it wasn't a great move.

Anyhow, we just dropped 3 freakin games. We are going to have to attack on of the best teams in the NL this week. We have to get these games back.

i bailed at the ninth again. we sat up in the bar seats overlooking the field today cause of the rain/heat.

piss poor game. harang pitched a stellar game but he just worked too fast and through too fast.

    gotta eat more later

This team needs some positives to surround it very quickly, which would mean wins in NY.

The bullpen is so pathetic it's hard to even describe. Our starter again kept us in the game only to have the bullpen blow it open. Yan and Burns are awful, Mercker needs to go back on the DL and I'm not exactly excited to see Standridge called up.

The only guys who can even be somewhat passable at times are Coffey, Hammond and Weathers. All three have had rough spots too, especially the latter two.

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

If out starting pitching was the problem I'd be giving up on the season, but since it's the bullpen and we're still right in the thick of the wildcard I think we still have a good chance. Our starting pitching has been very solid it's just up to the bullpen to get it together. We also could probably use another high average guy in our lineup, otherwise we rely too much on homers.
