    Ryan Wagner is lost...

I keep waiting for him to turn it around...but he isn't. Tonight he got hit hard again....0.1 IP, H, 2 ER raising his ERA to 9.00 on the season. Maybe they should send him down to AA...cause he's just getting pounded right now.

JimBo screwed him up by calling him up after about 15 games in AAA.

Yeah, like I said before, he may turn out to be Todd Van Poppel #2.

i was thinking, not that it's a brilliant idea or anything... but what if we sent him down to A ball and tried to stretch him out to start?

He's still young, maybe by next year he can work his way back up to AA or AAA and we'll have a decent SP prospect.

That may not be a bad idea at all. I remember after his first season they were talking about possibly making him a starter. He hass some nice stuff and we cannot deny that, but he has got to get something going. Jimbo really did screw him over for sure. But he should take the minor set back and move to AA if he is going to remain a reliever. I am willing to wait for him for a few more years.

while I don't like the idea of making him a starter, im mean remember Danny Graves.. I don't hate the idea to put him down there and have him start games inorder to get more IP's to work on his issues

He's got way better stuff than Graves and, if I'm not mistaken, he started in college.

yeah, but graves also had Major League Success which is something Wagner can't even say

And I am not sure if he was a starter at college or not, since they never really ever brought it up for him to be a starter

EDIT: Nope Not a starter in college looked it up

Wagner won't be a starter. It's reliever or bust for him.
