    Rick White in to pitch.

A bit scary...someone who gives up his share of HR in to face a couple of HR hitters.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

And there it is... HR for Johnson. 2-1 Nats.

As I said, the beginning of the end for Team Joke.

This team is not good at all.

The bullpen is terrible and we still need three starters.

Cards likely to take over 1st place over the weekend.

Our bullpen is going to have to be tight tonight. I am afraid if we evetually have to go to Hammond.

Why can Shackelford not pitch more?

I guess he's too successful to pitch for this team.

Guillen singles. This could get ugly.

Jackson bunts the runner to 2B with 1 out. Ross struggled to handle that ball for a minute.

Nice diving stab by Freel and it saves at least a double.

Zimmerman flies out to RF. Guillen goes to 3B with 2 outs.

White is getting everything up in the zone.

The crowd is very silent. It sounds like many of the a little over 15,000 have already left.

I think most realize the true talent of this team.

LeCroy reaches on an infield single. EdE throws the ball away. LeCroy to 2B with 2 outs. 3-1 Nationals.

    Yawn.

Game way over. This team is BAD.

    I'm out.

Tonight has been Narron's stupidity in a nutshell.

    TERRIBLE, terrible moves.

Terrible pitching decisions. Terrible double switches. Just absolutely ridiculous. Seriously.

WHY bring in a pitcher who gives up a lot of HR to face Johnson and Guillen??!!

That's why I made the comment "a bit scary" when I saw he was in.

    Just stupid, stupid, stupid.

    Unbelievable.
