how long until Junior goes back to the DL? June?
With the field conditions probably being very wet due to all the rain in the area, I am a little surprised at this move. Of course, they may have activated him because they knew the game tonight might not get played.

i'll believe it when i see it

I assume you mean about him starting?
Anyway, I am glad he's back offensively, but our defense just went downhill.
The outfield is back to being ugly defensively again.
I wish we could keep Denorfia around and dump McCracken.

Good to see is all I can say. But CRF is right, our defense is going to suck now. I just wish they would get over with the Griffey moving to a corner outfield spot. Just do it already. Our defense will suck again I am sure but this also gives the slumping Freel some time to sit down and think.
Now we just need Aurilia back to play 1B and Milton back in the rotation.
The only strange part is over the last couple days, Griffey said he still didn't feel quite comfortable running around the bases yet. Has something gotten much better for him over the last day or so in terms of that?

Maybe me calling him a pussy motivated him.
Though that seems unlikely.
Very nice to see him finally coming of the DL. Any word on how the weather in CIncy is gonna be tonight? I know down here in Louisville they said that storms were supposed to form this afternoon through the evening, but its been sunny most of the day.
At game time, temp. around the 50's with scattered showers. They'll get the game in, but there may be periods of showers.

Based on radar trends, I think they'll definitely get the game in.
There is a shower entering downtown as we speak, but it should be out in time for the beginning of the game.
If there is a small delay it would probably be at the beginning of the game. Otherwise, it should be OK unless a pop up scattered shower or storm moves in.
It's pretty dark outside our place right now with a little rain falling(we're about 15 minutes from downtown), but these showers/storms are scattered in nature for the most part.

So Griff's starting in center? Has there been any thing on him moving to left. I know you guys have been talking about it here on the forums, but I'm just wondering if Griffey, Narron or Krivsky has said anything publicly about moving him. That would obviously be the best option for Griffey and the Reds by moving him.
I just hope the game gets played tomorrow night. It will be my first outing of the season. Get to see my boy, Griff.
