Before his injury in AAA which caused many including myself to ever wonder if he would recover fully, he was pretty lethal threat when on base. I think last year they were taking it easy on him still.
Freel's slump seems to be coinciding with him swinging at pitches he wouldn't normally swing at. I'm sure he'll get out of it soon, but he needs to start being patient again and waiting for "his" pitch.
