Wow, that's one matchup I haven't heard yet.
Me either. Funny how the media finally realizes the White Sox are a force to be reckoned with when they beatdown their beloved Red Sox 14-2. What's sad is they even allowed Scotty Podsednik to get a HR. When you allow a HR that puts your opponent up 6 to a player who had all of 0 HR in the regular season, you know you got beat soundly.
The media's coverage of NY and Boston is repulsive and needs to come to a stop. There are six other teams in the playoffs but fail to realize that.
They sure realized it when their beloved Red Sox got run over by the runaway train that is the Chicago White Sox.Originally Posted by love_that_reefer
Not a bad prediction but they still have to slay the RedSox and then deal with the winner of NY vs LAA.
I also think St. Louis will have something to say about the NL crown.
Just curious ... any of the Boston/New York clowns got anything to say now?
I stand by my original prediction of Sox over Astros in 6.
1 down ...
How about Mr. Jenks? 100mph and looks like he's only casually tossing it up there. Mr. Cotts, the former closer, didn't do too shabby either. Nothing like a well rested bullpen eh?
Joe Crede will be World Series MVP.
I think everyone should rep Boris at least once for his prophecy.

Jenks is there because Bill Stoneman is one of the worst GMs in the league.
So that's the name of the person I've been thanking every day since Bobby threw his first major league inning for dropping him off the 40 man roster.Originally Posted by realmofotalk

In regards to Jenks, there was an interesting little blurp a day or so after the ALCS, when a reporter asked him about the effects of a long layoff between pitching stints. Jenks response was in the order of "I like rest, and I'm ready whenever coach tells me to go" ... very cool
