    White Sox Kip Wells sighting

White Sox signed RHP Kip Wells to a minor league contract.
Wells hasn't appeared in the majors since 2009, pitching in the Independent Leagues in 2010 and only in winter ball last year, but he reportedly was throwing 93-94 mph in a recent workout. Slated to turn 35 later this month and the owner of a career 4.71 ERA and 1.51 WHIP, he's merely organizational depth.
Kip is just a stupid name

Hilarious... Does everyone hear that? That's the sound of desperation in the white sox camp.

White Sox released RHP Kip Wells.
Wells signed a minor league deal with the White Sox two weeks ago and was in extended spring training, but the two sides have decided to go their separate ways. The 34-year-old right-hander hasn't appeared in the majors since 2009 as a member of the Reds.
    That was quick
