According to Jon Heyman of SI.com, Will Ohman and the White Sox have agreed to a two-year, $4 million contract, pending a physical.
This move could allow Matt Thornton to move to the closer role, with Ohman becoming the lefty specialist. Ohman posted a 3.21 ERA through a combined 68 appearances for Baltimore and Florida last year, with 43 strikeouts over 42 innings pitched. The back of the White Sox bullpen is still largely unsettled, with Chris Sale as another possibility for the ninth inning, so be sure to track this situation leading up to and through spring training.
The bullpen might be unsettled but it looks damn good. Ohman and Crain are fresh additions joining Thorton, Santos and Sale. Great pickup for the White Sox!
