White Sox White Sox pursuing Dunn?

One rival executive tells Buster Olney of ESPN.com that the White Sox "are all over Adam Dunn" right now.
As Olney notes, White Sox GM Ken Williams is aggressive and Dunn fits the description of what the team needs. Whether Dunn is willing to be a designated hitter is another question altogether. It remains to be seen whether Jake Peavy's injury will change his plans leading up to the trade deadline.
In the past, Dunn was never enthusiastic about DH, even during interleague.

As long as the Nats trade Dunn to an American League team, I'm cool with that.

But at the very least I wouldn't mind the Reds getting him back.

I say they don't trade him. He's good for them, his kind of power is not readily available. If they were to trade him for Beckham, where would he play? Zimmerman is locked in at 3B, and they're committed to Ian Desmond at short, despite the endless amount of errors.

Yes mofo, I too would like to see the Reds get him back. That said, I agree with Zito that it makes sense for the Nationals to keep him. Washington's future is obviously looking brighter and Dunn is pretty important to the current core, which is important to keeping the fans happy until the rest of 'the future' arrives.
