White Sox Wise To The DL

White Sox placed outfielder Dewayne Wise on the 15-day disabled list with a Grade 3 separated right shoulder.
Wise is expected to miss 6-8 weeks after he was hurt making a catch during Monday's game. Brian Anderson is slated to play center field regularly for now.
CF was a weakness for the White Sox and it didn't get any better. White Sox are going to need to get some help if they care to repeat as division champs. In response, the White Sox signed Scott Podsednik to come back and help in CF. Pods patrolled CF when the Sox won it all back in '05.

Pods was actually starting LF for the World Champion team. Aaron "cult hero" Rowand patrolled CF in 2005 for the Sox.

This could be a real problem for the Sox. They have had a hole in center for several years and Wise's injury makes the hole even bigger, for the present time. Brian Anderson is in camp and will have to step up, offensively.

I have much more faith in Gordon Beckham developing in the near future (which could put Alexei Ramirez in CF) than I have in Brian Anderson correcting his long, looping swing. Gordon has been tearing up Birmingham as well, I wouldn't be shocked to see him in the bigs this year.
