The Sox Give up the Farm for Swisher

Nick Swisher, though a nice piece to a puzzle, is not a franchise player. Trading Sweeney, Gonzalez and De Los Santos for him may have been paying a bit much. I, personally, like Sweeney as much as Swisher and wonder what the Sox outfield will look like next season.
Here is a story: FOX Sports on MSN - MLB - A's deal Swisher to ChiSox for 3 prospects

Looks like this deal has worked out. He has what, 20 bombs on a first place team? He's still striking out and not hitting for any kind of average but has been a big presence in the clubhouse. Still not worth three prospects but for the short term this has worked out in the ChiSox favor.
