White Sox vs. Twins 8/18-8/20

Another big series for the White Sox. I'm predicting a 2-1 series win. Why? Because: A) The White Sox play to the level of their competition, and B) Johan Santana will probably win his start, although one of his few career losses to the White Sox came this year.

It should be a good series... I really enjoy watching good baseball teams play good baseball... so as you can imagine, being a Brewers fan, I don't watch a lot of good games.. hope this is a good series!!

that sure as hell won't happen!!! We already won game one and a game behind in standings and wildcard to the SUXS! Looks like there is finally a race going to take place.


It is also GREAT to see Detroit finally cooling off!!

Look to the left. That tells me that my team has what it takes to get the job done. Don't dismiss the defending champs so easily. You'll end up regretting it if you do. Also, remember, Santana has lost to the White Sox this season. This is just another time that your team is giving you hope this season, only to crush it. It happened whenh Liriano came on and started dominating, then got hurt, it'll happen again over the next two days.

Garland pitched another great game tonight. Hopefully Vazquez can put up a rare good start tommorrow to get the series win.

Garland sure has surprised me the past couple of years.... I really thought he was lucky last year and it was a fluke.... And the way he started this year, I thought my observation was going to be correct. But he really has had a very good year this year.... He probably has been the most consistent starter the Sox have had this year...... Just my opinion.... I know Contreras has been good, but he has had a few wins this year that could have just as easily been loses....

lets talk about today's 7-3 win by the Twins. We won 2-3 vs the white suxs! I said you would not be Santana and that is what happened. We we 2-3 and make it a 1 game difference in the wild card again.

The Twins are still in 3rd place in the division, and the White Sox are about to play a team they do very well against, even if the rest of the league doesn't. I don't recall predicting a Sox win in this game, so I don't know where you got that one from. Last I checked, the Twins weren't nearly as good on the road as they were at home. Guess where they play their next 6?
