Great effort by Buehrle today that unfortunately was sullied by a botched double play ball. Nice inning of work by MacDougal. Hopefully he can go 2.

Thanks to Inge for the run, but the Sox should have had 2. Ozzie should know better than to try a bunt with Uribe. He can't get them down.

Great job by MacDougal and Thornton in the 8th. Next inning, the man in my sig will be in to shut 'em down, but first, the White Sox will tack on an insurance run hopefully.

Well, a small threat wasted, so it's up to BAD Bobby Jenks to preserve the 1 run lead.

Great game for the White Sox today. Jenks comes away with the save, and strikes out Fagglio Whoredonez in the process. Like I said earlier in the year, championship ballclubs take care of their own business, and that's what the White Sox are doing to the Tigers right now. The Tigers are cracking under pressure as well, with 5 errors in the 2 games thus far, most of which have cost them runs. Great job by Buehrle despite falling apart in the 5th after the double play wasn't turned, and great job by the hitters to capitalize on Detroit's mistakes. Things are looking good for another win tommorrow, with Detroit sending a 24 year old who had had very little success beyond A ball before pitching way over his head when he started with the Tigers this year, only to fall back to earth later, and the White Sox are sending their big game pitcher who loves day games to the mound.
