    White Sox Best team when it counts?

    Interesting stat from Elias Sports Bureau:

    With their win over the Yankees, the White Sox are 31-19 (.620) against teams that currently have a winning record. That's the best record of its kind for any major league team.
    Unfortunately, it also shows that they play to their competition too often.

    Oh, that makes sense. Typical Yankee fan, thinking the world revolves around his team. I don't recall the White Sox having to win even one game against them to get the lovely piece of jewelry to the left though.

    The White Sox seem to just beat the very good teams when it counts, so we will see how that goes.
