"According to the Detroit Free Press, Magglio Ordonez has been named to the AL All-Star team as an injury replacement.
"Ozzie [Guillen] called me today and asked me," Ordonez said. "I'm excited to go." Manny Ramirez is reportedly asking out of the game due to injury, although an official announcement hasn't been made yet."

Why would Ordonez lie?
