It seemed like for a while there, Oakland was able to just take games from the White Sox. The weirdest things always seemed to happen against them, and it got to the point where I wondered when the oddities in favor of Oakland would happen. Last year, they hit a Sox batter who didn't get awarded first and saw a lineup that at one point had Jermaine Dye at SS and Chris Widger at 3B. Their forte has been using unearned runs to propel them to victory. Not this time though. Hopefully, this is the start of a new trend.

nah, the A's are only 1 game back of 1st with all these injuries...just wait until people come back...everyone left the A's for dead last year when they were 15 games below .500 and then they came back to lose in the final week. They're in better shape now compared to last year.
The White Sox are the world champs, hats off. It's not like the A's didn't have a chance to win 2 out of 3...the bullpen blew the 1st game (duke or kennedy would have pitched in the 8th, not street) and yesterday we only lost by 1 run as well. It was a good series and as Dam said some of the bounces the A's were getting went the other way.
