    Opening Day against the Reds

Just wanted to say good luck to you guys. Zambrano is going to be hard to defeat. I hope it is a good game and win or lose I will be happy. I actually have the Cubs winning in my picks for tomorrow so I will be happy either way.

    Have fun tomorrow fellas!

this game is going pretty damned wacky. zambrano out after 4 2/3 innings, 7 runs scored on bloops, bunts, singles, and an adam dunn miscue.

reminds me of opening day last year where z couldnt get out of the 5th inning and the cubs won 16-5.

Man, the Cubs offense looked incredible. But on the other end of things, the Reds defense looked incredibly bad. But hey redrbetter i reallly hope Bronson can bring a win to Cincy tomorrow.

    per rotoworld:

Carlos Zambrano blamed the cold weather for his not-so-hot outing on Monday.
"Big Z had trouble feeling the ball,'' manager Dusty Baker said. "He couldn't feel it in his fingers. We were hoping to get five innings out of Z and then go to the bullpen.'' Zambrano threw 105 pitches before being removed from the game after giving up five runs in 4 2/3 innings. Apr. 4 - 9:06 am et
Huh, looks like many players on both sides of this game hated the weather yesterday. I just hope we get a much more fundamentally sound game in tomorrow.

i think both sides were also quite put out with the strike zone.
