not bad, really, either. Woody wasnt expected to be back until late april and thats where hes still slotted. he wasnt ever going to be on the opening day roster anyways.

Prior is a bit dismaying, but to be expected now.

In other news, Sean Marshall is expected to jump up to be the #4 starter after his impressive spring.

Yeah, they're supposed to be going with:

    Zambrano
    Rusch
    Maddux (home opener)
    J-Will
    (fifth starter only in mid-April)

    per rotoworld:

Cubs manager Dusty Baker suggested Thursday that he sees Mark Prior being "five, six weeks behind."
Prior, who played catch again yesterday and had no problems, didn't think he was starting completely over after taking two weeks off with a strained muscle in his right shoulder. Baker seems to feel differently, so it looks like Prior has little chance of pitching in the majors during April. Mar. 31 - 2:36 pm et
Does not sound too good for Cubs fans.

    What a shocker!
"They asked me if I wanted the ball in Game 6, and I said yes. I'll always say yes. That's what I did with Jack McKeon. I told him, 'Let me see how I feel tomorrow.' I went out, did a long toss, came in and said, 'I'll pitch, I want it, I want to do it.' And it ended up working out." -Josh Beckett
