Trading Arrieta at this point would be silly. Sure if you get a kings ransom I'd go along with it. Pitchers capable of being a number two don't grow on trees.
I'd much rather deal Wood.

I think he's done just that.
Of course I had to go back and find this.

Eh, Arrieta was a decent prospect out of college, but let's not forget he fell to the 5th round of the draft, 4 rounds after the Cubs took some guy named Josh Donaldson.
Re: Feldman for control issues!
Arietta and Jose Bautista have to be the craziest examples of a team getting someone seemingly useless on the cheap and then they suddenly become superstars.

I like to tell Cubs fans, that aren't nearly as obsessed as I am, that Donaldson was once in the Cubs organization. I usually get the same response and they flip out because they don't remember Rich Harden lol

The best part of the Manny Ramirez and Jason Bay 3-way trade between the Dodgers, Red Sox, and Pirates is that the Pirates dumped Bautista to room at third base for Andy LaRoche, who they judged to have more upside because all the nerds said he walks a lot. Oops!
