Yay! We are winning again so far! 5-1 bot 4. Earlier I was about to post a we suck thread but we started doing good again. Prior, Blanko, Nefi all 2-2.

Cubs win 5-1. Prior got 116 pitches in . Almost more then I would have liked but he pitched real strong. No earned runs, just the unearned one and 10 k's.

116 pitches is a good number for him. studs like him can survive to 120 with no real effort. probably 30 of those pitches were in the macowiak atbats.

It would be great if Kerry Wood can go 8 innings with only 116.

today, he probably could have. but with a 10 run lead, dusty pulled him. more to get the bullpen work than anything else.

Went to yesterday's game. It was great to have Zambrano to hit the game winning double in the 3rd. Ramirez jacked one 425 feet, and out of the ballpark, and the Pirates outfielders didn't even bother to move. Great game.
