Cubs fight, Zambrano not involved

Chicago Cubs pitcher Carlos Silva and third baseman Aramis Ramirez scuffled in the dugout Wednesday during a game against the Milwaukee Brewers in Maryvale, Ariz.

Silva did not want to talk to the media, according to a Cubs spokesperson.

In the first inning, Ramirez made one of three Cubs errors and Silva gave up two home runs as the Brewers grabbed a 6-1 lead. It was after the inning when the scuffle ensued.

The Cubs made headlines last season when Carlos Zambrano confronted Derrek Lee in the dugout on June 25 during a loss in U.S. Cellular Field. Zambrano was suspended and had to undergo anger management classes.

Silva is vying for a spot in the starting rotation. He has maintained that based on his performance early last season that he already has proven he should be a starter. Cubs manager Mike Quade has not named a fourth or fifth starter at this point.

Silva and Ramirez are some big boys so I hope there is a tape of it somewhere. I wonder if Silva will have to take anger management like Zambrano. To be fighting this early over errors is just silly to me, if that's what they were fighting over.

I dont know whats more epic fighting on March 2nd or that Zambrano was actually a good cub scout and not involved.

No matter what happens the truth remains they are still the Chicago Cubs and they will figure out a way to screw up anything including a 2 car funeral procession.

Perhaps they were fighting over Zambrano. Like Zambrano insulted Ramirez, Ramirez gets heated, Silva defends him, and boom. So technically, Zambrano is still to blame.
