Cubs Will Geovany Soto bounce back this season?

After the marijuana incident last summer and the huge dropoff from his 2008 Rookie of the Year campaign, Soto is back in camp and is supposedly 40 pounds leaner. He did suffer his fair share of injuries, be it shoulder or obliques, or whatever, but he is supposedly healthy as well. Does he come back this year as the player many thought he was going to be in 2009? Given that his plate discipline didn't completely erode, I think signs are good that he will return to form, to some degree this season.

I want to say yes, he will bounce back, but as with any slumping hitter, who the hell knows.

I think he will. He's got a lot of talent, and he's in great shape to start this season.
