Cubs vs. Brewers - 6/30 - Game Thread

Uhhh half the lineup is benched. Cedeno is playing, Harriston, Dubois, Macias too. Not good for scoring runs. Maddux already gave up a two run jack to Carlos Lee. Soo this isn't gonna be all that pretty in my mind.

Capuano going today. 7-6 with 3.22 ERA. Let's cap him .

Harriston leads off today, we will see how it goes.

I guess you could call that a good start, Jerry Hairston(I had been spelling it wrong) leads off with a HR! 2-1 Brewers, high scoring affair? Patterson hitting 2nd.

Patterson walks. He finally did something good at the plate in this season (0-7 in the season). Lee bats 3rd.

Lee can't do anything and hits into a double play. Aramis will be up now.

Aramis sends one into left and gets on in front of Barrett. Barrett grounds out and it woulda been a DP had there been 1 out.

I was up really late watching UHF and got up early. Damian Miller singles to left. Wish he could done that more in our uniform! Geoff (Is it Gee-off, or Jeff) Jenkins hits one deep to left center and Corey misplayed it a bit against the wall and it went for a double.

Ehh this isn't looking good. JJ Hardy doubles back up the middle. Thankfully, only Miller scored. Maddux seems to have hurt himself a bit too. Nice.

Blooped into left by Capuano (hitting .100) and 2 runs score. Gosh dang were gonna get creamed today. Maddux just isn't pitching well and half our regular lineup is riding the pine.

Weekes grounds out to Aramis to end the inning (finally!)

To finish what I was saying earlier. I was up late last night and early today so I'm dizzy and hott and tired. So if I just stop posting soon you know why .

Dubois doubles down the 3B line. Cedeno advances him and Macias drives him in with a single.

I've really stopped paying attention to this game. All I know is there is a runner on 1st with 1 out. Probably a HR from the next batter.
