Cubs That Didn't Take Long Part II

It didn't take long for Bradley to get hurt and in his first game back, he gets his first ejection for the young season. It wasn't even his first game, his first AB back. He came in to pinch hit and had a 3-0 count and took three straight strikes and was punched out. Then he got extremely close to bumping the umpire if he didn't. It didn't take long for him to do exactly what I though the would do all season. Thanks for not disappointing

the pitch that he was called out on was a bad call. dont blame him for being upset.

Humor Milton Bradley debuts with a bang

The umpire who ejected Milton Bradley in his Wrigley Field debut Friday intends to file a report stating that the outfielder made physical contact.

Bradley is in serious danger of being suspended. He struck out looking on a full count pitch and shared a brief, but aggressive, exchange with umpire Dan Iassogna, at one point knocking the ump's hat slightly up his head. The report will be filed with the Commissioner's Office on Saturday. We'll keep you updated. Apr. 17 - 9:29 am et

It was too close to take and he could have fouled it off instead of getting rung up. There were two other strikes as well

Whether or not it was the right call is irrelevant to the situation.

Its irrelevant because either way he had no right to bump the umpire and react like he did. He's a ****ing child!

Because it doesn't warrant his actions.

The ump making the wrong call doesn't make it ok for Milton to bump him.

hats touching does not equal bumping.

if the correct call is made (which it clearly wasnt), then there wouldnt be any confrontation. So, it most definitely IS relevant.

If A directly leads to B, A is relevant to B.

That is no excuse for him bumping the umpire and it was more than hats touching! He's a ****ing child and deserves what he got. He should have swung at strike 2 and 3.

This is like blaming the rape victim because she "dresses like a skank".
