Hah, just kiddin ya. Seriously though, ya gotta realize by now, that the only guys that get numbers like that and still get MVPs are on winning teams (unless you are Bonds-like). And the Cubs are barely above .500
You never know though.
if they win the wild card thats enough (they are like 2 games out). did it for sammy in 1998.
if by some miracle he did win the triple crown, i think he would automatically get MVP. especially if the cubs were to win the wild card (or by some miracle were to win the central) and realistically, he IS the MVP as he is the primary reason the cubs are where they are. without him, they are probably down below the cincinatti reds.

MVP for now, but I don't think he will win the MVP. He will eventually fade. Still that's good enough for him to get my vote for the ASG.
When all is said and done, Pujols or Luis Gonzalez will win the MVP.
Pujol is the one I am worried about. Gonzalez's stats are not as good, and his team is behind the Cubs in WC standing.
