Cubs pitcher Carlos Zambrano threw his regular bullpen session Monday without experiencing any trouble with the left big toe he sprained Saturday while sliding into second base against the Boston Red Sox.

"I think I will lose the nail, but that's normal,'' Zambrano said. "Everything felt good today.''

Zambrano said that with his toe wrapped, he had no difficulty putting his full weight on the foot. He said he will make his next start Friday at Yankee Stadium in New York.

Seeing Z pitch on the big stage that is Yankee stadium will be great. I think this will be great for him to get some national attention.
