Zambrano watch

Carlos Zambrano had a side session in the bullpen Monday and said his sprained left big toe felt fine afterwards. Zambrano wore some padding on the toe and was able to put all of his weight on it. His only worry is about the toenail, which was black and blue.

"I think the nail will come off by itself," Zambrano said. "Right now it's dark. It looks like I've got blood in there. That's the only problem, that I will lose a nail."

Ewwwww. My friend Paul's toenail got stepped on alot and then it fell off. Really gross looking (and he wears flip-flops ALL the time). Been like 4 months and he hasn't grown one back. Z should be able to grin and bear it though.
