    Another Crazy Zambrano Injury

Carlos Zambrano could be headed to the disabled list after being hit in the pitching arm by a fungo bat prior to the All-Star game.
Zambrano was doing an interview with Venezuelan television near the batting cage on Tuesday when White Sox coach Joey Cora accidentally hit his pitching elbow with a fungo bat. Zambrano was unavailable to pitch in the All-Star game and X-rays on the elbow were negative. He will have it further examined in Chicago on Wednesday.
    Internet elbow and now this?

It could only happen to a Cubs pitcher.

This ranks right up there with Nintendo wrist, spraining your neck putting on your ball cap, slicing your hand open trying to open a CD, staying in a tanning bed too long and burning your face, and burning your foot with a fondue pot.

Very good to see that he did well in his first appearance post tweak.

He has always been a great pitcher to watch. Unless of course its a night where he just gets pissed off. But to be able to pitch like that with some troublesome health is a nice sign.
