Cubs Take Series from Cincy

winning 3 of 4 from Cincy was huge. we couldnt go into this series and lose 3 of 4 or even get swept. if the cubs did, the team would pretty much be done and over with this year.

as it is, they still have a lot of work to do, but at least they arent buried after the ten game road trip to St. Louis (2-1), Houston (1-2) and Cincy (3-1). 6-4 on that road trip is pretty darned good considering where things were standing before hand. i thought theyd be lucky if they got 3 wins on the trip.

I'm impressed. Pitching has had some surprising nice starts too. I can't wait till Lee is back.
