Craig Hansen is up to 8 2/3 scoreless innings this spring after retiring three batters Friday against the Orioles.
Both David Riske and Rudy Seanez have had ugly springs, but it still appears likely that Hansen will get some time in Triple-A. His chance will come sooner or later, and it would surprise no one if he's Boston's best reliever by September.

My bet is that, with a major league contract and his stuff, he's up by May. Especially considering the risks in the Sox pen (almost everyone at this point has some sort of risk factor: age, injury, suckiness), Hansen could be up very soon. Still, almost a game's worth of scoreless play is nice.

Dinardo did very well today, as did Tavarez with six scoreless innings between them. They lost, only because Rodrigo Lopez almost guarantees a Sox loss anytime.
