Manny being Manny: Unreliable for two teams!

First, we have him staying out of Sox camp until March 1st, and now? He's pulling out on the DR team.

Manny Ramirez probably won't play for the Dominican Republic in the WBC, meaning he'll be around to stay after reporting to Red Sox camp on March 1.
No reason has been given for Ramirez's apparent withdrawl. The Dominican Republic would still have the tourney's best lineup without him. Moises Alou will probably take over as the primary left fielder. Willy Taveras, Juan Encarnacion and Wily Mo Pena are options in center, and Vladimir Guerrero will start in right.

Not a huge surprise with the way he's been acting, but with Alou taking Ramirez's spot, that cannot help a DR team that some favor to win. However, I get to say lol manny bein manny, so it's worth it.

I would be happy as hell if I were a Red Sox fan. If they are gonna shell out that kind of money, I would want him playing for me and no one else.

Don't get me wrong, I like that he's not playing, just saying he's unreliable.

Yeah, he's REAL unreliable on defense haha
"They asked me if I wanted the ball in Game 6, and I said yes. I'll always say yes. That's what I did with Jack McKeon. I told him, 'Let me see how I feel tomorrow.' I went out, did a long toss, came in and said, 'I'll pitch, I want it, I want to do it.' And it ended up working out." -Josh Beckett
