I read in the paper that Curt is starting Wednesday.

As for this series, who knows. Both teams haven't been that impressive so far. Still it's too early to judge. One thing for sure. The loser of this series falls further behind in the standings.

I think we win the first two and lose the last. Pretty safe bet i think. Wakefield usually does well against the Yankees.

Curt will be here Wednesday from what I hear.

Anyway, I don't expect a whole lot, I just don't want a Yankee sweep, nor do I expect one.

I think the Yankees can get Wednesday as it will be Curt's first start. I don't expect more than 5 innings from him.

I am mostly concerned with Wright.

I think Schilling is going to be good for his 1st start back. Vs. the Yanks, and Wright, everything is perfect.

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.

I think Schilling will be okay, but Red Sox fans should not expect anything special out of him for tommorow at least.

    Schilling didn't do well yesterday

I'm happy with Schilling performance. He would have had a very solid 5 IP/2 ER game if Francona didn't have a Grady Little moment.

Fishercat: Why in the world did Francona left Schilling in that long? Schlling just came from an injury. He is not ready to go that much innings just yet. Most pitchers rarely do well coming from an injury when they have to pitch that many inning like Curt did. Curt looked great in the first few innings, but then he went on a wall. That's going to happen when pitchers come back from injury. That was an interesting decision.

I don't know. Curt's very stubborn, so maybe he convinced Francona, which is a bad sign. A manager's job is to make decisions, not to give into a player's desires when they are wrong. He would have been fine if taken out after 80-90 pitches/5 IP.
