8-12 to 8-14: Chicago White Sox at Boston Red Sox

    Game 1: Buehrle v. Wells
    Game 2: Garland v. Wakefield
    Game 3: Hernandez v. Clement

Well, this is not good one bit. It's good the Sox are at home v. the best team in the AL and that they don't face Garcia, bu Buehrle AND Garland? Harsh. I'm just hoping to avoid a sweep and get through this tough series. This really doesn't matter for the White Sox (they essentially have a playoff spot wrapped up), but with a struggling Texas at NY (where they conveniently miss Benoit AND Rogers), the Sox need every win they can get.

    Help!

Looks to me like another 2-1 White Sox series win. Buehrle and Garland should win for the pale hose, Clement should take the final game down for the carmines. There's always that potent Red Sox offense that could prove me wrong though.

A nice job by the Sox offense to take advantage of Buehrle and the ChiSox (I like pale hose actually), and El Grande Papi had a huge game. They needed every one with Boomer on the mound and Schilling having a shaky inning in the ninth

Superb job by the Sox in the first two games. They have beaten up on both Garland and Buehrle, and they get to avoid the third in Chicago's set of aces in Freddy Garcia. El Duque won't be easy since he knows the Sox well, but they have taken the series and are firing on all cylinders with key hits by guys like Petagine and Kapler just helping out the stars.

Well, like I said, that Red Sox offense could always come along and prove me wrong. I can only hope that come playoff time, Garland and Buehrle will be far superior to their outings of the past 2 days. For now, I think the Red Sox have a sweep.
