    This is the season

Two biggest rivals in sports, 159 games played it comes down to 3, how fitting. I like our match ups for this series. Im so pumped up i just want this ting to get under way.

Should be fun to watch for sure. It's not the ALCS, but I expect the same type of atmosphere and intensity.

Our defense was solid last night, I mean Manny made some nice catches. OUr bullpen was money all night, we had a bit of a scare late but Timlin shut it down. I hope Wake has a good kuckler today, and i hope our offense shows up. I think we caught a break with theose coslty errors by the Yankees last night for runs.

2 games left. Man it would be so sweet if the Sox win the next 2, and the Indians win at least 1. No Yankees in playoffs!

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.

I'll be extremely happy if either the Yanks or Sox don't make it because then there's only a 1 in 4 chance of either making the World Series...but the Indians need to win

    3 - 2 now

Wow, two huge blasts so far, one for each side (although, in fear of being whiny, Ortiz was hit slightly with that pitch prior to the one the he struck out on, so I think it should be 3-3...but hopefully he'll have an oppurtunity to make me forget about that).

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.

5 - 2 now...Shrek should have made it more obvious that he was hit...like act as if he was hit instead of asking the ump

    True, he should have.

Love it. Paying Renteria 10 million bucks as a righty hitter to strike out against Johnson in key situations. Even better is Millar. Too bad Olerud's a lefty.

If the Sox lose (which is looks probable), then it isn't the end of the world.

At this point, it looks like that the Indians could lose (4-2 at last check for Chicago), if that happens, then a Sox win or Indians loss tommorow gets the Sox the WC spot. If the Indians do win, the Sox are where they were two days ago...but past Randy Johnson. I'll take even a Schilling at 75% in a big game over most pitchers, and that alone gives the Sox a shot, assuming Mussina doesn't have his random Perfect Game caliber appearence.

At this point, it seems the Sox will lose barring some amazing comeback (against Mo Rivera though? Toughie), but the Indians have lose to the White Sox. Worst Case Scenario has an Indians-BoSox playoff game (I think the coinflip was in Jacobs Field, FOX says Fenway, but do we trust them or me? Nah). Best Case has a Sox win or Indians loss tommorow and the BoSox head to Chicago.

If we do make the playoffs I'd rather play the Sox than Angels.
