    Red Sox s0x bring back Gabe Kapler

    Red Sox signed outfielder Gabe Kapler for the rest of the season and placed him on the 15-day disabled list with a strained lower back.
    Kapler will spend some time in Florida and then begin playing in minor league games in a couple of weeks. If he looks OK in the minors, he'll probably take over as a fourth outfielder by mid-August

    Absolutely fine with me. Sox need a RH OF bat to bring off the bench and Nixon isn't exactly durable (and Millar isn't exactly reliable). Having him for the stretch run could be helpful.
