    Red Sox Cameron DFA'd

Red Sox designated OF Mike Cameron for assignment.
Assuming they don't find a trade partner, the Red Sox will be responsible for the remainder of $7.25 million salary for this season. While Cameron didn't live up to his contract in Boston, he shouldn't have any problem finding work once he's available at the league minimum. His departure is good news for Josh Reddick, who should have an increased role moving forward.
I can see the Nats taking a chance on him as they have been looking for a CFer. Cameron has been battling injuries all year long and has a terrible batting line of .149/.212/.266 in 33 games this year.

HAHA Looks like the Nats have no interest but the Indians are showing a little interest since Choo is out for a while.

It must be nice to have a Boston-sized budget so Theo can afford to make costly blunders like Dice-K, John Lackey, Mike Cameron, and now Carl Crawford. But sure he's a genius.
