    Red Sox Ortiz

Man. I know it's the same thing as what happened at the start of last season and Ortiz sort of recovered to have a decent season, but he looks completely lost at the plate. Getting fooled, routinely late on his swings, it's painful to watch. Guy can't even get the ball out of the infield. He could really use an injection of HGH right about now.

The inside fastball used to be something Big Papi could crush, now pitchers know that its just a pitch he can't turn on anymore. So now he is chasing for other pitchers and the rest, as they say, is disaster.

Ortiz with his first home run of the season. The world breathes a collective sigh.

Papi is obviously in a race to beat Travis Hafner to a .400 SLG%
