According to multiple sources, pitcher Brad Penny was claimed off waivers earlier this month, and then subsequently pulled back by the Red Sox. With the 48-hour window in which a deal could be worked out by the Red Sox and the claiming team already passed, Penny, who is being skipped over for his turn in the rotation this week, can’t be dealt by the Sox.

why? he has been terrible and won't even be a type b free agent. dumbass move right there. so KoZ, it doesn't appear Penny has anything on Theo...the Sox just have a Viagra-induced hard-on for him.

At least you dont have him signed to a 2 yr deal where he'll eat up the most abs on the team like another franchise dead set and shooting itself in the foot EVERY time they decide to spend a bit of money.

To make matters worst as soon as he comes off the DL I am sure that our "brilliant" manager will utter some incredibly stupid things about experience in CF and bench guys who could have a future for said player and watch contently as said player continues to cost this team with his offense and defense.
