    Red Sox Boston ties record for most runs in an inning before making an out

    So I was watching this game and the Red Sox were getting shut down by Jeremy freakin' Sowers of all people. It was 2-1 Tribe. Whatever. Time for Survivor so I changed the channel. During the commercial, I change back and the score is 10-2 and there were still no outs. And the Red Sox would add three more.

    Boston tied a modern major league record with 12 runs in an inning before making an out. That's ineptitude from Cleveland right there.

    - D. Pedroia walked, J. Lugo to second
    - J. Bay doubled to deep center, J. Lugo scored, D. Pedroia to third
    - M. Lowell intentionally walked
    - R. Baldelli singled to center, J. Bay and D. Pedroia scored, M. Lowell to third
    - J.D. Drew walked, R. Baldelli to second
    - M. Kobayashi relieved J. Sowers
    - J. Bailey doubled to left, M. Lowell and R. Baldelli scored, J.D. Drew to third
    - N. Green singled to second
    - G. Kottaras singled to center, J. Bailey and J.D. Drew scored, N. Green to second
    - J. Lugo singled to third, N. Green to third, G. Kottaras to second
    - D. Pedroia singled to left, N. Green and G. Kottaras scored, J. Lugo to second
    - M. Herges relieved M. Kobayashi
    - J. Bay homered to deep right center, J. Lugo and D. Pedroia scored
    - M. Lowell grounded out to shortstop

    ridiculous...we get to the bar/club for a concert and the it was 2 - 1 Indians. Sox come up and go nuts...13 - 2 all of the sudden. even that smug jackass Baldelli got into the act.

    Look at that lineup too, no Youk, Ortiz, Varitek, Lowrie, or Ellsbury... thats 5 starters not in the lineup, so whats that GF that the Red Sox would be done for if they had the Yankees injuries?

    to be fair, 1 inning's results doesn't mean they repeat that performance numerous times (small sample size). injuries hurt every team in some fashion. except maybe the all-madden team...

    Ohh for sure, but I don't even think the Yankees have scored 12 runs in a game since the injuries, but I agree obviously we are a better team with them in the lineup but we can win games with our depth
