SI.com is reporting that Jason Varitek will decline Boston's offer of arbitration.
Varitek looked liked the only big-name free agent with even a slim chance of accepting the offer prior to tonight's deadline. Darren Oliver and Brandon Lyon are the best bets from the entire group of 24.
OK, now it does look as though Varitek is done in Boston.
