    Wakefield pitches a beautiful gamelasting 7 stron innings and striking out 6 and walking only 1 and allowing no runs in the Redsox shutout of the D-Backs 5-0 to take the series 2-1. Kevin Cash hit his first homerun of the season and 3 RBI's. The Redsox were able to get 12 hits against Randy Johnson and the other D-Back hitters while the D-Backs were only able to come up with 3 against Wakefield and the other Redsox pitchers.
