it didnt take long for the Sox to tie it up, thanks in part to 2 Brewers' errors. more of their fine defense.

Dustin makes a hell of a play to get the double play and help keep the lead safe for the Sox at 7-6.

Yes for the most part it has been. Peds double play, however was nasty.

Sox take both games of the DH with a 7-6 win in the night cap. Timlin got the save.

Why didn't Francona bring in Papelboner. He only threw 7 pitches in the first game.

    Francona hate.

I guess he was just being safe and getting Mike Timlin some work as a closer. I know there is no closer battle between Papelbon and Timlin.

Sox sweep the Brewers with an 11-7 win in this afternoons game. There was a total of 8 homeruns between the two teams and Ryan Braun and Big Papi each had two. Great series for the Sox. Glad they are home.

Congrats on the big sweep this weekend. Caught the Brewers in their rut still. They are now officially in last place all by their lonesome selves.

Wow, that is such a shock. I really thought the Brewers were going to be fighting for this division.

I still believe they will have something to say before it is all said and done. But it has been a VERY disappointing start to such a promising season.
